Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.
Introduction:
Robertson is seeking a skilled Accountant II to join our client in support of an existing vacancy.
Contract Period: 2 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $24 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Validate transfer forms, including complex and estate-related transactions
- Process asset movements in a high-risk environment
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance, handle detailed reviews of documentation to support successful and timely transfers
- Post secondary in finance degree required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting/documentation review
- Macros Excel/ data validation
- Tech savvy – MS office, excel, confluence, SharePoint
- Compliance background/KYC- reviewing complex documents
- Strong Communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Banking/Financial background
- Legal background- working with legal documents and reviewing legal paperwork
