Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Scrum Master. This position focuses on facilitating Agile practices within a high-visibility, AI-driven cybersecurity program, supporting global security initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to optimize Agile workflows, remove impediments, and promote continuous improvement across a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Pay rate range (CAD): $67.97/hr – $81.57/hr
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Support teams during transition from SAFe-like models to Agile methodologies
- Organize and optimize team pod structures supporting AI cybersecurity initiatives
- Remove impediments and shield teams from external distractions
- Coordinate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure backlogs are clear and prioritized
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and Agile best practices
- Track and report on team performance metrics using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
- Support Agile maturity across teams and advocate for process enhancements
- Encourage collaboration and communication within the team and with stakeholders
- Manage WIP limits and help teams achieve predictable delivery cycles
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies ensuring all team members are engaged and prepared
- 2-4 years of project management and Scrum Master experience
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings and drive team engagement
- Experience supporting teams in Agile transformations
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- SAFe or other Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM)
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau for reporting and visualization
- Background supporting security or cybersecurity projects
- Familiarity with AI-led initiatives and global security environments
