Position: Soil and Plant Scientist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $70–$125/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Through mid 2026

Commitment: 15+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design questions related to soil and plant science for a top AI company.
  • Evaluate AI model training, focusing on soil and plant science accuracy.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to improve model outputs.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure model reasoning aligns with soil and plant science principles.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 4+ years full-time work experience in soil and plant science.
  • Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (no Chromebooks).
