We are seeking a customer-focused and tech-savvy Live Chat Support Agent to join our remote team. In this role, you will assist customers in real time via live chat, helping them with questions, technical issues, order support, and general inquiries. This position is ideal for individuals who are excellent written communicators, problem solvers, and able to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat promptly and professionally
  • Provide accurate product/service information and resolve issues efficiently
  • Troubleshoot customer problems and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain a high level of empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Document customer interactions and feedback in internal systems
  • Follow scripts, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistent support
  • Meet performance metrics (response time, resolution rate, customer satisfaction, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other support team members and departments as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior customer service or live chat support experience preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills (grammar, tone, clarity)
  • Comfortable working with multiple chat windows and CRM platforms simultaneously
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Availability to work flexible hours (including PT/FT options)

Work Schedule & Pay

  • Part-Time: 15–25 hours per week
  • Full-Time: 30–40 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling available; weekend or evening shifts may be required
  • Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience)
  • Opportunities for bonuses or advancement based on performance
