The Data Engineer is responsible for data integrity, optimization and upkeep of the DHR Corporate Procurement Systems databases and ETL processes.

This position is a key part of the Corporate Global Procurement Team and will be remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, document and optimize SQL Databases, ETL processes.
• Investigate, improve, and maintain data quality. Document database processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Leverage other Azure resources such as Azure Data Factory and Logic Apps to manage ETL tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, and data analysts to integrate and optimize database solutions within the Microsoft stack.
• Monitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and ensure data security and integrity.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Excellent critical thinking skills, data curious and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 3 year's of data analyst or data engineering role.
• Proven experience as an SQL Developer, specifically with T-SQL
• Solid understanding of database design principles, indexing, and normalization.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Firsthand experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure services preferred.
• Experience with database migration projects is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are advantageous.

The annual salary range for this role is $95K-$110K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
