About The Role
As a Project Logistics Specialist, you will support efficient delivery across designated product lines by implementing logistics activities. You will collaborate to meet organizational goals and customer requirements regarding cost, quality, delivery, and reliability. Responsibilities include monitoring active projects, updating status, resolving roadblocks, and escalating issues.
You will report to the Senior Project Logistics Manager, Energy Systems Commercial Sourcing and Procurement and be 100% Remote.

About The Role
As a Project Logistics Specialist, you will support efficient delivery across designated product lines by implementing logistics activities. You will collaborate to meet organizational goals and customer requirements regarding cost, quality, delivery, and reliability. Responsibilities include monitoring active projects, updating status, resolving roadblocks, and escalating issues.
You will report to the Senior Project Logistics Manager, Energy Systems Commercial Sourcing and Procurement and be 100% Remote.
Responsibilities
- Ensure appropriate domestic and international logistics service providers are sourced and available for all shipment types, including over-the-road, rail, air, ocean, warehousing, project cargo, and standard cargo.
- Manage planned shipment data (requests, ASNs, system-generated demands). Collaborate with our teams to ensure visibility and active management of all shipments.
- Develop and implement logistics plans based on PO and customer contract terms. Ensure suppliers and customers follow agreed terms or recommend changes to meet internal goals for safety, service, and cost. Confirm logistics providers understand their responsibilities and that documentation reflects accurate terms.
- Prepare and verify shipment documentation and labeling to ensure compliance with specified requirements and terms.
- Arrange transportation with designated providers, ensuring equipment availability and tracking shipments throughout transit. Take corrective actions and coordinate Marine Surveyor involvement.
- Provide delivery sites with advance planning materials (ASNs, packing lists, SDS sheets, lifting plans) and participate in site readiness reviews.
- Ensure appropriate charge numbers are established and communicated to logistics providers. Support invoice processing to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Logistics Lead/Sr. Manager to maintain transportation budgets. Request quotes, identify budget components, and give feedback on variances.
- Implement transactions using SAP and ATOMS, ensuring data accuracy and updates. Follow all required procedures and complete training within specified timeframes.
- Communicate logistics trends, best practices, indices, and competitive offerings to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Build productive relationships with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Procurement teams to support logistics execution.
- Other Responsibilities as Assigned
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in logistics project management
