Be a key player in a team dedicated to crafting and enhancing AI experiences. You will be instrumental in conducting critical user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points, informing the design and development of AI-powered products. Your work will have a direct and tangible impact on user satisfaction and product success.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct a variety of qualitative research studies, including user interviews, focus groups, and diary studies, to gather rich user insights.
  • Design and execute surveys to collect quantitative data, complementing qualitative findings and providing a comprehensive understanding of user perspectives.
  • Analyze research data to identify key trends, patterns, and actionable insights that will inform product development decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers, effectively communicating research findings and advocating for user-centered design principles.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and reports that clearly articulate research insights and recommendations, influencing product strategy and design.
  • Manage research projects independently, from conception to completion, ensuring timely execution and high-quality deliverables.

Must-Haves

  • 2-4 years of proven experience in UX research, demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with the ability to synthesize insights from various data sources.
  • Experience with user research tools such as UserTesting, dscout, and Qualtrics.
  • A proven track record of designing and conducting end-to-end user research for technology products.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey research findings to diverse audiences.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working with consumer products within a tech company environment.
  • Background in human-computer interaction, experimental psychology, social psychology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Figma and Figjam.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is C$50.48 to C$56.09 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
