Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, hands-on, and proactive HR Generalist to manage HR operations for our US team while partnering closely with our India HR colleagues to ensure seamless global processes. This role blends daily operational excellence with strategic people initiatives, ensuring our HR processes run smoothly, consistently, and with a high standard of care. You will be a key protector of our culture through operational hygiene, employee engagement, and alignment with leadership priorities.

What You’ll DoPeople Operations & Compliance
  • Execute onboarding, exits, HRMS updates, and document workflows for US employees; coordinate with India HR on global process alignment.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal on offer letters, settlements, compliance documentation, and audit requirements.
  • Track and maintain compliance with US labor laws, state-specific mandates, and employment regulations; provide oversight for India compliance items (e.g., BGV, insurance, audit checklist).
  • Maintain accurate records, trackers, and HR data to ensure operational hygiene and reporting accuracy.
Culture & People Programs
  • Design and roll out people programs for US teams in close collaboration with leadership and India HR.
  • Lead US-specific engagement initiatives (anniversaries, birthdays, feedback nudges, recognition programs).
  • Support company-wide initiatives in organizational design, competency mapping, KRAs, and performance management cycles.
  • Champion DEI efforts and ensure cultural consistency across regions.
Employee Experience & Support
  • Serve as the first responder for day-to-day HR queries from US employees.
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for HR-related activities, interviews, and events.
  • Support US hires from interview scheduling to new hire integration; ensure smooth offboarding for departing employees.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to US leadership, providing insights on employee sentiment, engagement, and process improvements.
Talent Processes
  • Manage scheduling and coordination for interviews with US candidates.
  • Execute onboarding plans that set new hires up for success.
  • Support global alignment of performance review cycles, survey rollouts, and feedback processes.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of HR generalist experience, preferably in a global, high-growth organization.
  • Strong working knowledge of US labor laws; familiarity with India employment practices is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage both strategic HR initiatives and daily operational tasks.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS/HRMS systems; experience with global platforms preferred.
