Position Objective

The Quality Assurance Specialist is an operational role and is responsible for ensuring the highest quality and compliance in our products before reaching our patients and stakeholders. The incumbent will develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure that our products meet established standards and requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality standards and monitor compliance
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
  • Train and guide staff in quality control and improvement strategies
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with industry and internal regulations and standards
  • Participate in the review and analysis of customer feedback and product defects to drive quality improvements
  • Additional duties as assigned


Position Requirements/ Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry, preferably in a medical group or clinic setting
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (e.g., HEDIS, HIPAA, CMS, Joint Commission)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Proficient in using quality management software and tools
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Communicating with others to exchange information
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and/or fingers
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned
  • Must be able to lift at least 15lbs at times
