A global organization undergoing a major systems transformation is seeking a Workday Payroll Consultant to lead the implementation of its Workday Payroll module. This is a 12-month fully remote contract, ideal for a seasoned consultant with deep Workday Payroll expertise and experience managing end-to-end implementations.
About The Role
As a key member of the implementation team, you’ll be responsible for leading the deployment of the Workday Payroll module. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery, configuration, testing, and deployment of payroll solutions aligned with business objectives.

About The Role

You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery, configuration, testing, and deployment of payroll solutions aligned with business objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll
- Manage system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align payroll functionality with broader system needs
- Translate business requirements into scalable payroll solutions
- Identify and resolve issues related to data migration, integrations, and compliance
- Conduct user training, knowledge transfer, and support change management efforts
- Ensure payroll processes meet regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Proven experience leading full-cycle Workday Payroll implementations
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Payroll functionality, configuration, and compliance
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, statutory requirements, and system integrations
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage project timelines and communicate effectively across functions
- Prior consulting experience or project-based work in a fast-paced environment is an asset
