At Dragonfly Health, HRBP’s are strategic partners in the business and are essential to the organization’s success because they align HR strategies with business goals, ensuring that talent management, employee development, and workforce planning support the company’s objectives. They act as both employee advocates and strategic advisors, fostering a positive workplace culture while helping leadership navigate change, manage performance, and make data-driven decisions. What You Will Do
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, fostering a positive work environment and addressing employee concerns through effective conflict resolution, mediation, and coaching.
- Using your advanced knowledge of human capital management to design, develop, implement, and communicate best practices that drive organizational performance and culture.
- Measure performance through key indicators and business results and makes recommendations as appropriate. Continuously evaluates and streamlines processes to allow the organization to stay focused on people.
- Lead and manage complex internal investigations in conjunction with appropriate resources and stakeholders. Partners with appropriate legal resources to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company direction
- In collaboration with department leadership, frequently creates and updates job descriptions to accurately reflect the essential functions and job requirements of roles within the organization.
- On an ongoing basis, assesses employee engagement through exit interviews, surveys, observation, and reviewing analytics and key performance indicators. Identifies opportunities for increased employee engagement and alignment with the organization’s values. Recommends actions to effect positive change and implements as appropriate.
- Navigate the complexities of managing a remote workforce across different states, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining a cohesive company culture.
- Provides ongoing coaching and advice to managers with performance management guidance, career development, disciplinary actions, etc. Makes recommendations to facilitate positive employee relations and HR education among management.
- Actively supports corporate learning and development strategy and initiatives to include the development and execution of effective programs to drive succession planning, manager and employee professional development, and identification of key talent.
- Play a significant role in shaping and maintaining the company culture. By influencing policies, practices, and communication, you can contribute to creating a workplace environment that aligns with the organization's values and mission.
- Understanding of HRBP practices including organization design, talent strategy, performance management, change management, and executive relationship building.
- The ability to be proactive and self-directed utilizing good time management, decision-making, and organization skills is required.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and can balance competing priorities while moving talent initiatives forward. The ability to prepare and present executive level material (e.g. presentations, data analyses, proposals, process flows) across senior level audiences is a must.
- Broad understanding of two or more HR functional specialties (e.g., compensation, benefits, organization design, talent acquisition, employee relations, and training/development)
- Previous experience with HR systems such as UKG (UltiPro) preferred
