GTM Strategy Lead

Tremendous
Full time
150,000 - 185,000 USD / year
Accounting and Finance
United States
Hiring from: United States
Tremendous is the fast, free, flexible way to send bulk payouts to people in over 200 countries. 10,000+ companies ranging from mom-and-pops to Google, MIT, and United Way have sent over $1 billion, saving 15 hours a month on average.

In both our product and our workplace, we’re intentional about making work more efficient, flexible, and fulfilling. Tremendous is a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life.

Our customers, who include marketers, researchers, HR teams, and nonprofits, rave about how quick and easy it is to use Tremendous — check the ratings on G2. Yet there’s a lot of complexity under the hood, including over 2,000 redemption options and plenty of banking infrastructure. This duality makes working here a fun challenge.

Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. Join us before our next international offsite.

You will

  • Identify and synthesize the strategic opportunities for the company. You will lead the scoping and research of our longer term GTM priorities. You will also own sharing out recommendations and updates with company leadership.
  • Translate insights into action. We’re a small and fast-moving enough start-up that you will need to roll your sleeves up and drive implementation. You will be reporting to our VP of Revenue, and you will own meaningful projects through implementation. For example, you wouldn’t just come up with an idea for a new business line but you’d test the idea, iterate, talk to potential customers yourself (with support from other folks as needed).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to get the job done. Own strategic initiatives and be the one accountable to get them over the line. You will be one of the most cross-functional players at the organization and will work across sales, marketing, product, and data.

You have

  • 4+ years of experience in some combination of:
    • Highly strategic work such as investment banking or consulting
    • Being an operator at a start-up
  • Previous experience tackling ambiguous and greenfield projects.
  • Strong written communication skills. We’re a documentation-first culture.
  • Desire and ability to work autonomously and drive your work. Tremendous is not a great fit for people who default to waiting for instructions.

You are

  • A highly motivated self-starter who is eager to make an impact and unafraid of tackling large, complex problems while delivering high-quality results.
  • Someone who enjoys collaborating with sales, marketing, and product managers.
  • Comfortable taking on the role of a Project Manager to drive results.
  • Able to prioritize and re-visit priorities accordingly.

Why work with us

  • We’re profitable with plenty more opportunity ahead, which is good news for your career growth.
  • We offer competitive pay, equity and benefits. The base salary for this role is $150,000 - $185,000.
  • We're a fully remote company. Work from wherever you want in the Americas.
  • We’ve got smart people and a great culture. See our company handbook.

Compensation Range: $150K - $185K
