Job Title: Post Closing Specialist

 

Location: Tustin, CA - Remote OK ( If living within 31 miles of Tustin, CA or Austin, TX will need to be able to work 2 days on-site)

 

Pay: $21/hr.

Primary responsibilities include preparing real estate loans to ensure they are closed in conformance with all underwriting guidelines. Post-Closing prepares loans for booking and settlement with agencies, tracks and clears post close file exceptions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Performs post audit review of secondary market loans based upon regulatory agency and investor requirements.
  • Prepares files for other audits of secondary market loans.
  • Disbursement of all residential mortgage loans.
  • Reconciliation of all HUD/Settlement Statements with FICS.
  • Mailing customer survey letters.
  • Coordinating trailing documents to outside investors
  • Reviewing all mortgage loans for compliance following QC checklist.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.

  • Working knowledge of conventional and government residential mortgage loans, and investor guidelines.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Prior experience and proficiency with Loan Origination Systems and Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three to five years’ experience in this field of work is preferred.
