What We Are Looking For

DanceOne is seeking an organized, client-focused Regional Manager to support the seamless execution of Dream Maker Tour events. This role combines customer relations, team management, and event operations, with additional responsibilities for social media content planning and administrative support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating exceptional experiences for clients and staff.

In This Role, You Will

As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for performing a hybrid of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Oversee onsite event logistics, ensuring operational readiness and addressing any issues promptly to keep events running smoothly.
  • Supervise and manage a team of new and seasoned event staff, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Serve as the face of the event during award ceremonies, acting as the emcee to announce adjudications, overalls, and special awards.
  • Coordinate client interactions, addressing post-show follow-ups and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Manage pre-show and post-show administrative tasks, including preparing call sheets, organizing schedules, and maintaining clear communication with staff and judges.
  • Support social media efforts by planning and organizing event-specific content, reviewing media submissions, and ensuring diverse and high-quality representation across platforms.
  • Collaborate with other brands within the organization, such as Wild and Star Dance Alliance, to support shared events and goals.
  • Actively contributes to the improvement of event processes and operational efficiencies in collaboration with leadership.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, event management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event management, customer relations, or administrative roles.
  • Prior experience in entertainment, music, live theatre, or live production industry is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the dance convention business is a huge plus!
  • Professionalism in communication, including speaking, writing, and appearance, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early/late shifts during events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and social media management tools.
  • Availability to travel extensively during the event season, including weekends and some holidays.
  • Experience working with children or in child-focused environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Typical Work Schedule And Travel

  • This position is remote with flexibility during weekdays.
  • Typical business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend work for events.
  • During event weekends, work hours typically begin early Friday morning and continue through late Sunday night, potentially logging up to 40 hours over the weekend.
  • Must be available to travel for 16-20 weekends per year during event season, with additional travel as needed to support affiliated brands and events. This includes air travel and sharing hotel accommodations with assigned company associates. International travel is not required.

Physical, Community & Environment

  • Physical requirements include computer screen time, sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
  • Contemporary work environment with indoor work, sharing work areas with others.
  • Positive and energetic attitude thriving in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to be social with internal and external business associates, providing high-level customer service.
  • Exposure to loud music and dark work areas with professional lighting during events.
