Job Description



Position Title: Senior Contract Specialist


Reports To: Manager, Contracts


Department: Contract


Work Location: US (Remote)

Position Summary


Under the general leadership of the Contracts Manager, the Senior Contract Specialist will manage the contract lifecycle of business service and vendor agreements



Responsibilities




  • Draft, review, analyze, and revise contracts



  • Ensure consistency of contract terms with Company’s policies and goals



  • Proctor the Company’s interests by identifying business and legal risks, documenting areas of potential conflicts, developing solutions and mitigation strategies for key negotiation points, and escalating issues to management as appropriate



  • Partner with sales staff to understand upcoming contract needs for new deals and renewals



  • Provide advice on appropriate contract strategy and support or lead contract negotiations



  • Facilitate conversations with subject matter experts and other cross-functional departments in areas such as risk management, finance, and data privacy as part of contract negotiations



  • Maintain a knowledge base of key laws, legal processes and/or systems, and industry practices applicable to business contract administration



  • Assist and/or provide input into the formulation, development, and/or revision of operating policies, procedures, and strategies for Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM.)



  • Contribute in various ways to optimize the operation and efficiency of the Contracts Department, including supporting or leading process improvement projects



  • Support LLS’ Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division’s processes, procedures, and services; and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction




Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, paralegal certification preferred



  • 4+ years of business contracts administration or equivalent experience



  • Positive attitude and proven work ethic



  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through



  • Excellent oral and written communication skills indicative of a strong ability to interface effectively with attorneys, executives, and other internal and external stakeholders



  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines



  • Able to work independently with minimal direction



  • Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.)



  • Proficient with online meeting and web conferencing tools like MS Teams



  • Experience working in Salesforce.com and a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system a plus




The full-time annual salaries for this role is listed below. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this location. Experience and education refers to LanguageLine Solutions’ current salary range for this position. US Remote pay range $75,000 USD - $80,000 USD



The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter

Travel as required up to 10%
