The Paralegal will support OGX Media Experiences, LLC in drafting and reviewing a variety of agreements and will report directly to the General Counsel. This role is for a detail-oriented, flexible person who can handle a large workload in a fast-paced environment in a timely and client- service oriented manner. Successful individual will have clear communication skills, must be able to assess legal risk in a business environment and prioritize tasks across multiple teams.


A high level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the
company is essential. Types of agreements include, without limitation: Master Services Agreements and SOWs,
Vendor Agreements, Sponsorship Agreements, Services Agreements, Sweepstakes and Contest Terms,
Independent Contractor Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Independently draft and generate redlines of various agreements in connection with all current and future touring properties (The Friends Experience, The Office Experience, Harry Potter Magic at Play)

  • Proactively multitask, manage priorities, resolve conflicts and meet timelines for multiple projects

  • Work closely with General Counsel regarding the drafting and preparation of agreements

  • Manage workflow and prioritize Dept. requests in an organized manner

  • Assist General Counsel with all corporate governance matters (including but not limited to Board Consents, entity formation and dissolution, Meeting Minutes etc.)

  • Maintain spreadsheets to facilitate administration of contract cycle and the tracking of documents from drafting to execution to expiration

  • Maintain an organized system for facilitating the preparation, negotiation, distribution, signature, filing and retention of agreements

  • Provide information to General Counsel for purposes of advising business clients on contractual rights and obligations

  • Review, analyze, and summarize contracts to monitor critical terms/dates

  • Routine administrative matters, such as preparing, routing and submitting invoices

  • Scheduling meetings and handling calendaring requests




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Minimum of 5-8 years of paralegal experience in an entertainment environment (studio, production company)

  • Must be a clear communicator and articulate; strong verbal and written communication skills (including legal drafting)

  • Ability to assess risk in a business environment and effectively communicate with business teams

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Microsoft Word, DocuSign and Excel

  • Must be detail-oriented with the ability to independently prioritize work and handle multiple tasks with set deadlines

  • Excellent organizational and tracking skills; strong proofreading skills

  • The ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly with little guidance

  • Capability to act with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround

  • The ability to take effective action, and solve problems that affect people within the group or other related groups

  • Must be client-service oriented, personable, with great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, and the ability to easily switch gears

  • The desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job




Additional Desired Experience (Preferred but Required):



  • Location Based Entertainment Experience

  • Live Events and Entertainment related Experience

  • Hands-on production experience

  • International experience dealing with foreign jurisdictions



The salary range for this role considers a range of variables used in making compensation decisions and may include but is not limited to; experience, training, licenses, certifications, skills sets, business needs, travel. Compensation decisions are dependent on the unique variables that are present, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000-$110,000 This range has not been adjusted based on the geographic location of the successful incumbent.
