$118,434.00 - $185,054.00

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide functional support related to SAP and other financial applications utilized in the Chemours environment
Collaborate with the Business Finance functions to develop/maintain the roadmap for future developments and enhancements to the financial applications
Manage the activities and performance of the IT Financial Applications team in support of projects and enhancement initiatives
Monitor and manage the activities of the offshore support team
Develop a deep understanding of the business processes being utilized at Chemours
Gather, validate, and translate business requirements into cohesive, integrated designs and development specifications
Communicate with key stakeholders keeping them informed of progress and issues on IT related matters
Leveraging your understanding of our financial systems and capabilities to drive optimization
Promote collaboration and learning between IT Finance and Business Finance teams
Coordinate and document audit responses, execute annual testing, demonstrations, and feedback for our regulators and auditors
The following is required for this role:
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, finance, business administration, or other equivalent background/experience
At least 10+ years of SAP experience implementing SAP FICO
Experience with S/4HANA preferred
Working knowledge of Classic GL as well as New GL or Simple Finance
Working knowledge of Actual Costing/Material Ledger
Solid understanding of Inter-Company processes
Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling business functions
Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, design and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
Strong hands-on configuration and design skills
Demonstrated experience in leading improvement projects, working with business/ operations resources
Experience in the chemical or manufacturing industry
Knowledge of chemical processes and business operations
Strong listening, communication and facilitation skills
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and drive consensus with key constituents
The following is preferred for this role:
Technical expertise: Candidate should possess a strong knowledge and understanding of various IT applications and technologies, including familiarity with software development, programming languages, databases, and project management methodologies
Leadership skills: This role often involves leading a team of IT professionals, therefore, strong leadership and management skills are crucial, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members, delegate tasks effectively, and provide guidance and support when needed
Problem-solving abilities: Candidate should be able to face complex challenges and problems that require efficient problem-solving skills and then be able to analyze and evaluate issues, identify potential solutions, and make informed decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives
Communication skills: Candidate should be comfortable in interacting with various stakeholders such as IT teams, contract partners, business and function counterparts and senior leadership to covey clear and concise communication
Business acumen: Candidate must understand the company's business objectives and processes, and how IT applications can support and align with these goals and should have a holistic view of the organization's operations and be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Adaptability and flexibility: In the rapidly evolving IT landscape, being adaptable and open to change is important. candidate should be willing to learn new technologies, adapt to changing business needs, and constantly update their technical skills to stay relevant in the industry
