The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for all aspects of the daily operations of the housekeeping department in a hotel environment. This role includes working with the hotel team to develop and implement procedures that ensure exceptional cleanliness standards, optimize staff productivity, enhance guest satisfaction, and maintain the property's overall appearance and competitiveness in the market.

Your Role

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper;

In This Role, You Will

  • Set up, monitor, replenish, and maintain the breakfast buffet in accordance with hotel and brand standards.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, responding to requests, resolving concerns, and creating a positive dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakfast room, pantry, lobby, and other assigned public areas, following established cleaning procedures.
  • Monitor breakfast inventory, receive and properly store supplies, place orders as needed, and complete monthly inventory counts.
  • Ensure food quality and safety by serving hot foods hot, cold foods cold, and maintaining a clean, organized buffet and coffee station throughout service.
  • Follow hotel policies and standard operating procedures, including reporting maintenance issues, protecting guest safety and privacy, adhering to work schedules, and supporting overall hotel operations.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Previous hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move supplies as required.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
