Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote assistance.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other technology equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions for new employees.
- Support video conferencing platforms used for tutoring and meetings.
- Maintain inventory of company technology assets.
- Perform software installations, updates, and system upgrades.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and support requests using the IT ticketing system.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing technology equipment and user accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company cybersecurity and data privacy policies.
- Support cloud-based applications and productivity software.
- Assist with disaster recovery procedures and data backup processes.
- Train employees on technology best practices and company software.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve equipment or service issues.
- Participate in after-hours emergency support when necessary.
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
