About Zen Educate:
Zen Educate is a technology company transforming how schools access temporary educators. Our mission is to revolutionize education recruitment. Schools spend over $9bn annually on temporary staff, with more than $2bn lost to fees that could otherwise go directly to education. Our platform helps schools save money while empowering educators to earn more.
We are committed to ensuring every student has access to exceptional education. We go above and beyond to recruit, onboard, match, and coach educators who genuinely care about their students. Every day, we wake up with one mission: to care more, for our schools, our educators, and the system.
Joining Zen means being part of a high-growth, collaborative tech startup with limitless career growth opportunities for those who are entrepreneurial, resourceful, and ready to dive in. We invest in your personal and professional development, offering the chance to gain skills that will open doors throughout your career.
We recently closed our Series B funding of $37M, the largest European EdTech round this year, positioning us for rapid expansion in the UK and US markets.
About the Role:
As an Account Coordinator on our US School Success team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring uninterrupted student learning and exceptional service for schools and educators. You will manage urgent morning-of requests, support educator placements, and proactively identify opportunities to grow Zen’s presence in schools.
A key part of this role is relationship-building across the board, with school partners, newly onboarded and active educators, and internal teams. You will guide educators through their onboarding journey, ensuring they meet key milestones, feel supported, and are set up for long-term success while working with Zen.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume role that requires strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and strong interpersonal skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
Morning Requests & Absence Management
How You'll Succeed (Our Team Principles in Action):
At Zen, we strive to build a culture of equity and inclusion, where everyone is respected, valued and appreciated for their unique traits, experiences and perspectives. We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and equitable environment where our team can thrive, regardless of age, ethnicity, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, disability, religion or beliefs. We value our differences and believe that practices of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion help us create a fairer, more compassionate environment for all.
We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and different experiences and perspectives — just like the staff who teach through Zen and the children at the schools we work with. We believe in hiring the best people from the widest pool and creating an inclusive culture where people’s voices are heard and all our team can look forward to coming to work.
We are committed to building a team that reflects the diversity of our community and promoting an equitable and inclusive environment for all. We seek out diverse opinions, beliefs, and experiences because they collectively make us stronger; we’ve had former teachers, pilots, fundraisers, engineers, lawyers, marketers, social media experts and more join our team.
