Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations efficiently.
  • Assist with electronic health record management and data entry.
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat with professionalism.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication.
  • Prepare and maintain medical documentation and reports.
  • Support billing and insurance verification processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in various administrative tasks to enhance office productivity.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a medical assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
  • Certification in medical assisting is a plus.
