Position: Video Annotation Expert
Type: Hourly Contractor
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 4–5 weeks minimum
Commitment: Up to 60 hours/week

Position: Video Annotation Expert

Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate video clips to generate detailed annotations on subjects, objects, environments, and storytelling elements.
- Apply strong judgment to decide the best descriptive attributes for each clip.
- Collaborate directly with Mercor's project leads to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
- Excel in following precise instructions and quickly adopting new requirements.
Must-Have
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to follow precise instructions.
- Rolling start dates; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Complete a short assessment (30–50 mins).
- Hourly contractor classification.
- Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
