Part-Time / Contractor – Social Media & Business Development Coordinator

What You’ll Do: Social Media & Content
- Create simple, engaging content (posts, short captions, visuals) for Facebook and LinkedIn
- Plan, schedule, and publish content that aligns with brand tone and messaging
- Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement, responding in both English and French
- Participate in relevant online communities and groups to increase visibility
- Conduct bilingual outreach to clinicians, partners, and community contacts
- Support occasional in-person outreach in the Ottawa area (optional but an asset)
- Identify potential partner clinics, associations, and community organizations
- Conduct warm bilingual follow-ups and track outreach activity
- Assist with basic reporting (messages, leads, engagement metrics)
- Bilingual French/English — required
- Experience managing social media pages for a brand, business, or project
- Clear communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- A proactive, resourceful, “figure-it-out” mindset
- Strong relationship-building ability — you enjoy connecting with people
- Ability to stay organized, track your outreach, and follow up reliably
- Comfort with Canva, basic spreadsheets, and standard social platforms
- Interest in supporting Veterans and frontline service providers is a plus
