We are recruiting a results-driven professional for a fresh opportunity with our client as their Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis. This full-time, remote role is perfect for a high-energy, enthusiastic professional who can thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Reporting to the CFO, and offering fantastic growth potential, this role will support senior leadership while taking ownership of key financial and operational initiatives. This position requires you to:


  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management and the parent company
  • Lead forecasting cycles and variance analysis providing insights and recommendations to department heads
  • Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends and variances, and propose data driven solutions for involved forecasting and results
  • Partner with executives and sales to enhance cost tracking, performance, metrics, and pipeline analysis
  • Refine the Financial Planning & Analysis process, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and efficient management presentations
  • Support the CEO and CFO with special projects and financial analysis as required

Qualifications:


The main qualifications for this role include:


  • CPA designation required
  • A minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience
  • Solid technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15
  • Superior forecasting methods/techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Skilled at translating complex financial information into actionable insights


Assets:


  • Experience in software/information technology industry
  • Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce


Compensation:


  • $135,000 – $140,000 salary range
  • Generous bonus potential
