Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis

We are recruiting a results-driven professional for a fresh opportunity with our client as their Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis. Reporting to the CFO, and offering fantastic growth potential, this role will support senior leadership while taking ownership of key financial and operational initiatives. This position requires you to:

• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior management and the parent company
• Lead forecasting cycles and variance analysis providing insights and recommendations to department heads
• Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends and variances, and propose data driven solutions for involved forecasting and results
• Partner with executives and sales to enhance cost tracking, performance, metrics, and pipeline analysis
• Refine the Financial Planning & Analysis process, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and efficient management presentations
• Support the CEO and CFO with special projects and financial analysis as required

Qualifications:

The main qualifications for this role include:

• CPA designation required
• A minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience
• Solid technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15
• Superior forecasting methods/techniques
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Skilled at translating complex financial information into actionable insights

Assets:

• Experience in software/information technology industry
• Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce

Compensation:

• $135,000 – $140,000 salary range
• Generous bonus potential
