Job Description
We are seeking a Network Security Specialist to join our Cloud Security team. In this operational role, you will support and strengthen clients’ Cloud security infrastructure, applying expertise in secure cloud networking and connectivity. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to implement security best practices, automation, and compliance measures, while maintaining operational excellence within defined service levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and enhance clients’ Cloud security infrastructure, collaborating with multi-disciplined teams.
Implement automation and innovative solutions to improve efficiency and add client value.
Assist with audits, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and proactively addressing requirements.
Maintain operational and security standards within service level agreements (SLAs).
Apply expertise in secure cloud connectivity, network segmentation, and Azure security best practices.
Collaborate across teams to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Stay updated on emerging cloud security trends and technologies to proactively mitigate risks.
Provide guidance and training to team members on Cloud security best practices.
Requirements
Must possess (or be eligible to obtain) Canadian security clearance for government sector work.
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting and improving Cloud infrastructure, including:
VNET, NSG, ASG, API Gateway, Load Balancer
Private Link, Azure DNS, Azure Bastion, Route Server
NAT Gateway, Traffic Manager
Hands-on experience with secure cloud connectivity and network segmentation.
Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Security, or equivalent work experience.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Expert knowledge of Cloud Network Architecture; proficiency with Microsoft Azure Firewall and Azure Security is an asset.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
