Description

What you’ll be doing

Host an "Inclusion Matters" Presentation - 1 Hour is all you need to Inspire Change

Location: Virtual (host from anywhere in Canada)

Time Commitment: In as little as 1 hour

One-time Opportunity | High Impact | Flexible Scheduling

Be the spark that inspires inclusion in your community!

Inclusion Canada is looking for passionate, community-minded individuals to host a 35-minute virtual presentation that helps others learn about the challenges facing people with intellectual disabilities, and the powerful, life-changing work being done by Inclusion Canada to create a Canada where everyone belongs.

This is our shortest, yet most impactful volunteer role.

As a Host, Your Role Is Simple:

Pick a date and time that works for you

Invite a small group of 10 or more friends, family, coworkers, or community members

We’ll handle the rest!

The "Inclusion Matters" presentation features compelling stories from people with lived experience and highlights how Inclusion Canada is making a real difference. It is an introduction to Inclusion Canada and not a fundraiser. Guests will be asked to take a short follow up call to provide feedback and have questions addressed. It’s a heartfelt session that opens eyes and hearts, and we need you to help bring it to new audiences.

Why This Role Matters

  • Raise awareness around disability inclusion
  • Inspire new supporters and changemakers
  • Help build stronger, more inclusive communities across Canada

Who You Are

  • Friendly and enthusiastic about making a difference
  • Comfortable inviting people to join a short virtual session
  • Passionate about inclusion, accessibility, or community impact
  • Interested in issues such as family support, childcare, education, employment, housing, healthcare, senior care, etc.

Support You’ll Receive

  • A complete host kit (invitation templates, event tips)
  • Tech and a full professional presentation
  • Follow-up support if your guests want to get involved

Ready to make a meaningful difference in under an hour? This is the experience for you.
