About The Role
Encamp is seeking a strategic, metrics-driven Director of Marketing to lead demand generation, own pipeline creation, and scale programs that drive revenue. This is a player-coach role for a marketing leader who’s equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns as they are setting direction and guiding a high-performing team of experienced individual contributors. Reporting to the CRO, you'll partner closely across the revenue org and with Product to align marketing efforts to business goals and elevate impact across the customer journey.

In the interest of full transparency, the salary for this role will be $160,000 - $175,000.

About The Role
Encamp is seeking a strategic, metrics-driven Director of Marketing to lead demand generation, own pipeline creation, and scale programs that drive revenue. What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end demand generation strategy with accountability for pipeline creation, conversion and contribution to revenue goals.
- Act as both strategist and practitioner—executing high-impact campaigns while leading a team of senior marketers
- Partner with marketing, sales, RevOps, and Product to define lead scoring, funnel metrics, and campaign performance KPIs
- Design and implement a scalable project management framework for cross-functional campaign creation and execution
- Set performance metrics, track KPIs, and continuously optimize programs for conversion and ROI
- Champion creative applications of AI across content, campaigns, and operations — not just for efficiency, but to unlock new ideas, accelerate iteration, and increase scalability and impact
- Inspire and energize the team by fostering a culture of experimentation, curiosity, continuous learning, and data-informed decision-making
- Ensure brand consistency and clear messaging across all marketing channels & customer touchpoints
- 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with 4+ years in a team leadership role
- Proven success in driving pipeline through integrated demand generation programs across digital, ABM, content, and events
- Skilled at leading experienced ICs by setting clear priorities, enabling ownership, and aligning execution to business outcomes
- Deep understanding of funnel metrics and marketing’s role in driving revenue (SALs, CAC, payback, pipeline coverage)
- Recent hands-on experience implementing or optimizing project management workflows (Asana, Monday.com, Jira, etc.) to drive productivity and enhance workflow.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for applying AI and emerging technologies in inventive, business-relevant ways — paired with the ability to guide and inspire a team through change and innovation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with with stakeholder & management
- Creative mindset with a bias for action and a passion for innovating through new tools and technologies like Marketo, Salesforce, Wordpress, Clay, Make.com and BI platforms
