Role Overview

• Position: Economics Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
• Commitment: Part-time, ~20 hours/week (potential to extend to 40 hours/week)
• Duration: 1–2 months
• Contribute to developing advanced AI systems for economic workflows. Collaborate with a top AI research lab.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Create and assess complex problems in economics across subdomains like microeconomics, macroeconomics, game theory, econometrics, and behavioral economics.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for conceptual accuracy, logical consistency, and domain relevance.
• Provide clear written feedback on economics problem sets and solutions.
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and engineers to iterate and improve model performance.
• Ensure academic rigor and precision in all economics content used to train or evaluate AI systems.
  
  

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• PhD in Economics from a top university
• 2+ years of academic or work experience
• Deep subject-matter expertise across core areas of economics
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching, research, or publication experience
  
  

Engagement Details

• Competitive hourly rate: $70–$90 USD/hr
• Independent contractor
