Role Overview

  • Position: Legal Professional – Independent Contractor, Remote
  • Commitment: Part-time (20+ hours/week), Duration: 4 weeks
  • Collaborate with a leading AI research lab to enhance AI systems in the legal domain.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and review high-quality legal questions and evaluation sets
  • Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, clarity, and reasoning
  • Solve domain-specific legal problems to benchmark AI capabilities
  • Synthesize complex legal information from diverse sources
  • Provide structured feedback to improve AI alignment with legal standards

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Advanced legal education or specialized credentials (LL.M., J.D., S.J.D. or Ph.D. in Law) from a top university, preferably in the United States
  • Strong online research and analytical skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex information from diverse legal sources
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience practicing law or working in the legal industry
  • Location: Candidates must be in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia

Engagement Details

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Commitment: Part-time (20+ hours/week)
  • Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($90–$110 USD/hr)
  • Bonus: Weekly bonus incentives ($20–$100/hr)
  • Contract: Independent contractor
  • Payment: Daily via Stripe Connect
