Job Purpose
As a Senior Commercial Director, North America, you will lead in driving ramarketing’s growth in the region by generating leads, building relationships, and progressing commercial opportunities with pharma services companies.
You’ll be the first point of contact for new prospects, representing ramarketing across outbound outreach, events, and networking. Your role will involve creating momentum in our sales pipeline - from sparking initial conversations to securing closed-won deals. You'll contribute directly to proposals, attend meetings, and collaborate with our UK-based commercial team to grow our North American footprint.
This is a front-of-funnel, growth-focused role with a strong pathway for progression, ownership, and future line management responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, your duties will include…
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Run multi-channel outbound campaigns targeting CDMOs, CROs, biotechs, and other pharma services organizations.
- Work from defined Ideal Client Profile (ICP) lists, while also identifying and pursuing self-sourced opportunities.
- Track pipeline activity, campaign performance, and lead engagement using Salesforce CRM.
- Use personal networks and industry insights to generate qualified leads.
- Understand our competitors and value proposition to shape messaging that resonates and differentiates.
- Build a professional network across U.S. and Canadian life sciences hubs using LinkedIn, associations, and industry groups.
- Follow up on inbound leads and event connections with tailored, timely outreach.
- Maintain warm lead engagement through consistent, consultative communication strategies.
- Schedule and lead introductory meetings with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Qualify leads based on needs, fit, and readiness to buy.
- Collaborate with the global Commercial team to plan and attend sales presentations.
- Support clients through contracting stages including NDAs and MSAs.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations, and pricing documentation.
- Align internally with delivery teams to ensure strategic and operational fit.
- Support and lead pitches, bringing insight and energy to every opportunity.
- Attend life sciences trade shows, conferences, and networking events in key North American cities.
- Represent ramarketing with confidence, capturing leads and following up to nurture opportunities.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records to enable effective pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Join weekly sales pipeline calls and contribute ideas to enhance commercial processes.
We’re looking for a personable, proactive commercial professional with a growth mindset and strong grounding in life sciences or B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience within business development, sales, client success, or scientific consulting.
- An understanding of life sciences or familiarity with the CDMO/CRO/biotech ecosystem.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and cross-functionally across time zones.
- Salesforce or similar CRM proficiency.
- A passion for crafting and delivering compelling proposals and sales narratives.
