As an Associate Business Analyst at Insomniac Design, you’ll support business analysis activities across the project lifecycle while developing expertise in requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, and digital product development. Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will contribute to delivering high-quality business solutions that align with client needs and company objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Plays a key role in ensuring business needs are accurately translated into requirements, contributing to successful project delivery and improved user experiences.
  • Works closely with Project Managers, Developers, and UX Designers to gather, refine, and validate requirements.
  • Participates in stakeholder meetings, helping to capture feedback and refine requirements.
  • Supports the creation of business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, under the guidance of a Senior Business Analyst.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure requirements align with business and technical needs.
  • Proactively identifies gaps in requirements and seeks clarification to improve solution accuracy.
  • Communicates effectively across different teams and adapts to changing project needs.
  • Assists in user acceptance testing (UAT) by helping to develop test cases and tracking feedback.
  • Maintains documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of requirements and functional specifications.
  • Supports client-facing activities such as product demonstrations, training sessions, and UAT coordination.
  • Learns and applies industry best practices for requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
  • Keeps detailed records of discussions, decisions, and requirement changes.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within a digital agency, technology company, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and/or other project management tools.
  • Basic understanding of requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Eagerness to learn from senior team members and develop expertise in business analysis.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
