Title: Procurement Manager (US Trade & Distribution Contracting)

Alternate Title: Manager, Trade Contracting

Type: 4-month contract - W-2 only (no C2C, no third-party C2C)

Work location: 100% remote (US)

Pay: $80/hour

Work authorization: US Citizens or Green Card holders only

Client: 20-year Alphanumeric partner (medical/pharma)

Role Summary

Own day-to-day execution of US Trade & Distribution contracting across wholesalers, distributors (vaccines/oncology/specialty), specialty pharmacies, and direct distribution T&Cs. You'll maintain contracting trackers & compliance workflows (FMV, TPRM), draft/refresh templates and amendments, and support negotiation prep with financial models and business cases in a cross-functional, highly regulated environment.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the Trade Contracting Tracker: expirations, renewals, key compliance milestones.
  • Coordinate TPRM inputs/approvals to meet timeline and compliance requirements.
  • Draft contract/amendment templates for routine efforts; partner with Legal/Compliance/FM V.
  • Support Trade Contracting Directors, Enterprise Trade Account Directors, Specialty Pharmacy Directors through research, analysis, and negotiation prep.
  • Ensure agreements align to Fair Market Value and legal guidance; track FMV documentation.
  • Develop/refresh Terms of Sale/Terms of Purchase for direct purchasers.
  • Contribute to business cases & contracting strategy for the SPC forum.

Job Requirements

Must-have Qualifications

  • 5-8+ yrs in pharma/biotech trade, market access, distribution, or procurement contracting.
  • Hands-on with channel agreements (wholesalers, distributors, SPs) and chargeback/contract ops.
  • Working knowledge of FMV standards, TPRM, and compliance in life sciences.
  • Strong contract drafting skills (templates, redlines); comfort partnering with Legal/Compliance.
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel (financial models, scenario analysis) and tracker rigor.
  • Organized, deadline-driven communicator who can navigate a matrix and influence without authority.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with oncology, vaccines, specialty channel dynamics.
  • Experience with Contract & Chargeback Operations, SP networks, and wholesaler agreements.
  • Exposure to SPC/steerco submissions, business case writing, or pricing governance.
