The Manager, Management Consulting will lead, manage, and own the client account, directly impacting and delivering project outcomes and client success for companies ranging from privately held businesses to Fortune 50 firms. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that requires direct engagement with C-suite executives. You will be instrumental in building and leveraging key client relationships to drive results, while also identifying and selling solutions that fuel our firm's growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Impact Metafora’s bottom line by building and leveraging client and team relationships that drive results and fuel growth
  • Identify and sell solutions to existing clients by owning the relationship and providing real value to clients through Metafora’s holistic approach to consulting.
  • Lead and manage multiple consulting projects (up to three at a time), ensuring high-quality deliverables, adherence to aggressive timelines, and clear status reporting to leadership.
  • Provide consulting services across all areas of strategy, operations, technology and execution projects, including:
    • Future State Visioning, Strategy, and Roadmapping
    • Technology Strategy and Product Development
    • M&A Due Diligence (Tech & Operations)
    • Business Assessments and Benchmarking
    • Business Process Assessment and Redesign
    • Competitor and Marketing Positioning Analysis
    • Organization Transformation and Change Management
    • Operating Model and Organization Design
    • Training and Development Assessments and Program Development
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support project recommendations, and structure and facilitate workshops with C-suite executives to align on key decisions.
  • Contribute to business development by working closely with the sales team to support the development of proposals and Statements of Work (SoWs).
  • Contribute to the development of the firm's consulting practice by helping to create and refine consulting methodologies, tools, and templates.

What we need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering related degree
  • 6 - 10 years of experience in consulting and/or the supply chain, transportation or logistics industry
  • Demonstrated business development and sales skills with a track record of identifying and securing new expansion opportunities.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to prioritize high impact activities, resolve issues and keep complicated projects moving forward
  • Ability to simultaneously work independently and within a team culture
  • Advanced MS Office Knowledge - MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word (note: we use Google Suite but the functionality is similar)
  • Advanced data analysis skills specifically the ability to conduct RoI analysis, pivot tables, segmentation into quartiles / quintiles, scenario modeling and discounted cash flow analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Proven ability to add value across multiple project delivery teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage technical projects including software development and implementation
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills as related to building trusted relationships with internal and external business partners
