Who are we?
Sealed is a climate tech company on a mission to stop home energy waste and electrify all homes. We equip contractors with the software and support they need to complete more weatherization and electrification projects—making homes more comfortable, efficient, and sustainable.
Our platform powers a one-stop-shop rebate solution, investment-grade energy savings modeling, and end-to-end project aggregation for utility and government programs. With Sealed, contractors get paid faster, homeowners get better outcomes, and states accelerate progress toward climate goals.
We are a venture-backed, remote-first company headquartered in New York City that operates across the US. Learn more at sealed.com.
What will you do?
Sealed’s software and solutions help contractors sell more home energy retrofit projects at the kitchen table. Rebate programs provided by utilities and government (including Inflation Reduction Act home energy rebates), are a key driver of these energy efficiency and electrification projects.
These rebate programs can also create significant friction at point of sale, with contractors forced to spend an inordinate amount of time collecting data, modeling energy savings, and/or processing paperwork. Sealed reduces this friction by serving as a program aggregator, doing all of the rebate processing and payment on behalf of the contractor.
As a Program Strategy Manager, you will lead our efforts to identify, qualify, and launch Sealed’s entry into new programs. You will report to and work closely with Sealed’s founder and president, helping to define and build the future of the business.
Specifically, you will:
Your first instinct is always “don’t just stand there, do something”. You love nothing more than diving into the details, making sure that every “t” is crossed and “i” is dotted. You work well with others even though you are always impatient to move the ball forward. You love talking to all kinds of people, are great at communicating in both the written word and visual diagrams, and aren’t afraid of numbers.
You are also not afraid of ambiguity and love challenging the status quo to transform a market. Most importantly, you are invested in fighting energy waste at every level and want to transform the market for home energy efficiency and electrification.
