Buckland is looking for a Technical Client Solutions Consultant


What you’ll be doing

As a Technical Client Solutions Consultant, you will act as the trusted partner between the Client, sales, operations, and the Technology Services Division to translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions. You will ensure clients are set up for success by designing and documenting integration requirements, optimizing workflows, and enabling seamless use of our applications and reporting tools.

You will be responsible for

  • Work with the sales and client services teams to understand client goals and requirements to shape technical solutions by joining pre-sales conversations to explain system capabilities, functional opportunities, integrations, and data transformation options.
  • Translate client requirements into technical specifications, workflows, and integration plans that align with operational and regulatory needs.
  • Configure, test, and validate technical solutions, including EDI integrations, data transformations, document sharing or other related technology project offerings.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure technical solutions are aligned with business processes and regulatory standards, build work instructions, SOPs or other relatable materials to scale and grow team members in application use.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our complex applications, data structures, and integration capabilities to recommend the best solutions, process improvements or automation opportunities to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, research and evaluate new technologies, off-the shelf tools to meet client requirements and to continually enhance solution offerings applying “buy before build” principal where possible.
  • Prioritize leveraging pre-built solutions to save time, reduce resource use, and minimize risks compared to custom in-house development.
  • Support the onboarding process by setting up technical environments, verifying data accuracy, and helping train clients on portals, reporting, and integrations.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Showcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Identify potential challenges/risks and solve problems efficiently or work with Leaders for a solution.
  • Foster a fast-paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI's and deadlines.
  • To provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed.


What we need from you

  • University Degree/College Diploma in Business Analysis, Project Management/IT Project Management, or relevant education in Business.
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical roles, customer service or support, preferably in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS environments.
  • Comfortable working with clients and teams across Canada, the U.S.A, and Mexico; bilingual in Spanish or French is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of EDI systems, client portal, brokerage or other regulatory applications, data integrations, and reporting solutions.
  • Background in logistics, brokerage, or SaaS solutions is a strong asset.
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, CRM software and the ability to quickly learn new applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to turn business needs into technical requirements.
  • High level of organization, time management and attention to detail to coordinate and manage several client deliverables.
  • Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
  • Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other offices locations in Canada/USA/MX.
