Ensemble Performing Arts is seeking a motivated, high-performing Account Executive to drive new business development and manage ongoing client relationships for our pre-school dance curriculum program. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on expanding access to early childhood arts education across North America.
As Ensemble continues to grow our portfolio of performing arts schools and offerings, this role will be central to scaling our reach in the pre-school dance market through meaningful partnerships with dance studios, schools, and educators. We’re looking for someone who brings energy, resourcefulness, and a passion for education or the arts, plus a proven ability to close deals and manage client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from sourcing and qualifying leads to closing and onboarding new accounts, ensuring studios launch successfully, adopt the program, and renew.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective dance studios, schools, and arts programs
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and in-person or virtual meetings
- Deliver engaging product presentations and demos that highlight the value of our pre-school dance curriculum
- Negotiate and finalize contracts in alignment with business goals
- Serve as a trusted advisor for accounts, building long-term relationships and ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with marketing, curriculum, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support
- Track and report on key sales metrics and account performance
- Represent Ensemble at conferences, conventions, and events to build awareness and generate leads
- Partner with marketing to refine outreach strategies and build the playbook for our North American sales approach
About You:
- 2–3 years of sales experience, ideally in education, curriculum, arts, SaaS, or related sectors
- Experience selling to small business owners (education, arts, or fitness a plus)
- You thrive in a goal-oriented environment and have a track record of exceeding sales targets
- You're an excellent communicator who can build rapport and tailor your message to your audience
- You’re proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own pipeline and priorities
- You understand and enjoy the consultative sales process
- Strong organizational and CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) skills
- Experience or background in dance, early childhood education, or the arts is a plus, but not required
- Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to help shape the sales process for a growing product line
- Moderate travel expected for client and event engagements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $40,000–$50,000, with commission potential up to 2x base salary
- Eligible for PTO and benefits in accordance with Ensemble policies
- Flexible, remote work environment (ideally based in Calgary)
