Position Title: Vice President of Finance

Location: Remote

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

The Vice President of Finance is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support organizational growth. This role combines hands-on accounting and reporting functions with high-level financial planning, cash flow management, and oversight of company-wide financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all billing operations, including billing reconciliations, consolidated billings, invoice detail reporting, and billing reviews.
• Manage monthly reporting, including preparation and distribution of financial statements and variance analysis.
• Conduct commissions calculations for the Commercial Division.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor accounts reconciliation, property tax accruals, and fixed assets reporting and reconciliations.
• Manage leases and lease agreements, including financial impact assessments and compliance.
• Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare cash flow projections and monitor liquidity to support operational and strategic needs.
• Review and approve credit memos to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide financial leadership and guidance to support strategic decision-making by the CEO and executive team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO from time to time.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting processes.
• Experience in cash flow management, financial forecasting, and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
