Areteem Institute is looking for passionate and qualified high school and college students to help as math curriculum interns to work on improving our supplemental math curriculum and textbooks. This curriculum is based on 20 years of helping students improve their math problem solving skills. Many students use our curriculum to help prepare for math contests such as AMC 8, MATHCOUNTS, AMC 10/12, AIME, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Write, proofread, and improve solutions to problems in Areteem's Math Challenge textbooks.
  • Work independently on writing and submitting solutions.
  • Generate clear and understandable solutions using LaTex.
  • Have time to work at least 10 hours per week.


Qualifications

  • High school or college math lover
  • Experience with math contests such as AMC 8, MATHCOUNTS, AMC 10/12, etc.
  • Qualified for the AIME competition at least once
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.


It is the hope that successful interns continue with additional curriculum development, mentorship, and/or tutoring in the future.

This is a remote position.
