About Endeavour

Based in Toronto, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits is a Canadian charity that provides management consulting to improve organizational capacity and community impact for non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting. Endeavour has two consulting engagement rounds during the year, in the fall and in the spring. For each round, Endeavour will recruit and match teams of skilled volunteers with non-profit organizations in need of pro bono consulting.

As a volunteer-based organization, we believe in the power of skilled professionals coming together to make a difference: since 2007, Endeavour has engaged more than 1000 volunteers on over 134 projects — delivering more than $8 million in pro bono consulting to local, national and international non-profits based in Canada. Are you passionate about building connections, fostering community growth, and making a positive impact on society? Endeavour has an incredible opportunity for you! We are looking for a curious, collaborative, and growth-oriented individual to join our Learning and Engagement team. Reporting to the Director, Learning and Engagement, the Learning & Engagement Facilitator will gain valuable experience in, and is responsible for, the following:

• Collaborate with the Learning and Engagement team to design and deliver engaging training presentations to our consultant volunteers, fostering a strong sense of community and shared knowledge.
• Organize and lead exciting in-house and offsite activities that promote team building, learning, and networking among our volunteers, leaving them inspired and motivated.
• Contribute to the development of our training and learning curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the evolving needs of our consultants and the non-profit sector.
• Conduct research to identify relevant and impactful learning topics, making recommendations to enhance the learning experience for our volunteers.
• Embrace the opportunity to take on ad hoc tasks and projects that contribute to the growth and success of Endeavour.

Who you’ll likely are

• Past Endeavour volunteer experience is a valuable asset.
• Someone with a strong ability to lead and engage groups, with experience in facilitating discussions, delivering presentations, and public speaking.
• Proven experience in organizing and leading both in-house and offsite events that foster team building, learning, and networking.
• Someone with strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, execute, and follow up on various tasks and activities efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a remote setting and utilizing digital tools for communication and coordination
• A desire to make a long-term impact with a two-year minimum commitment, and contribute meaningfully to Endeavour’s mission.
