DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer
Role: We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help lay the foundation for scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure across our growing portfolio of software businesses. This role is ideal for someone with strong cloud engineering expertise, a pragmatic mindset, and a passion for enabling teams to build and deploy with confidence. This is an exciting and entrepreneurial opportunity to join a fast-paced technology company with a steep growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, Azure, and other clouds
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast, reliable deployments across multiple portfolio companies
- Set up and manage container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
- Define and enforce infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows (e.g., Grafana, PagerDuty)
- Partner with portfolio engineering teams to drive best practices in reliability, observability, and security
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to portfolio engineering teams
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
- Proven hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, Azure
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes
- Strong background with infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc.
- Experience setting up and managing secure secrets and credential stores (e.g., Vault)
- Solid understanding of incident management tools like PagerDuty
- Blend of startup agility and big-company maturity preferred
