Description

The Clinical Training Manager will be primarily responsible for developing the clinical training program, creating and maintaining updated training modules, and training all user groups to use the Supira System. You will help build and train a team of Field Clinical Specialists (FCSs) in addition to the training materials and models. The Clinical Training Manager will play a vital role in building and maintaining partnerships and collaborations with physicians, nurses, and study coordinators. This is a full time on-site position and will require reporting to our offices located in Los Gatos, CA.

Responsibilities, Skills & Hands-On Experience

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions to improve clinical case outcomes.
  • Manage and build the training materials for the Supira System. This will require continuous refinement of training methods, curriculum, and instructional design to improve engagement and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, integrating training requirements for clinical study protocols.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, adverse events and device deficiencies, and utilize data-driven approaches to adjust methodologies and maximize learning impact.
  • Oversee training records for all user groups and ensure certification is up-to-date.
  • Drive ongoing competency progression, providing refresher training and skills enhancement to support performance improvement.
  • Experience in clinical training, healthcare operations, or a similar regulated environment (cardiac, healthcare diagnostics, or medical device preferred).
  • Hands-on approach—this is a working leader role, requiring direct involvement in training delivery, coaching, and operational problem-solving.
  • Change agent mindset—must be adaptable, able to implement new training strategies to drive measurable improvements in user performance.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with clinical, engineering, quality, regulatory, and marketing team. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and quality of clinical data is a priority.
  • Familiarity with training metrics and assessment methodologies to gauge effectiveness and drive data-backed refinements.
  • Ability to scale training programs in a high-growth, fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality outcomes.


Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience in training in medical devices).
  • 7+ years of experience as a Field Clinical Specialist, Training Program Manager, or Clinical Educator, with a focus on designing, delivering, and managing training programs for medical devices used in the cath lab.
  • Experience working in regulated medical device setting with an understanding of compliance, quality, and operational performance.
  • Track record of leading process improvements, implementing new training methodologies, and using data to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Formal clinical background – RN, FCS, or FCE required.


Our salary ranges are calculated by role, level, and location. Please note that your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, location, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications. The base salary range for this full-time position is between $140,000 to $160,000 + equity + benefits.
