What's this role all about?

As the Business Systems Director, you'll be responsible for the prioritization and implementation of company-wide business systems to support the growth and success of the business.

What will I be doing?

Working with people across the organization and guiding the Enterprise Applications team, you'll lead the planning, organization, and strategy to meet Auvik's business goals.

You will manage two teams:

  • A team that's responsible for the general administration, design and implementation of Enterprise Applications such as CRM, CPQ, Billing, Support, Success, Operations, as well as Integrations and Data Platform.

Candidates must have a proven track record of scaling business systems in a growing SaaS company from a start-up to a scale-up stage and beyond. The candidate will be expected to understand business needs and develop a vision, architecture and strategy to meet those needs. We are looking for a cross functional leader who will be a key member of Auvik's Extended Leadership Team (ELT).

What are we looking for?

As the ideal candidate you will have experience with the following:

  • Planning and executing corporate enterprise strategy in a growing SaaS company.
  • Deep expertise in implementing and supporting multiple applications within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Exceptional leadership and employee development skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for working with all levels of the organization.
  • Implementing technical upgrades while mitigating potential risks.
  • Developing and evangelizing IT & Business Systems guidelines and governance.
  • Driving business systems architecture and scalable design.
  • Good understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations, and how these play into the platform architecture.
  • Knowledge and experience of data integration tools with different applications and data sources.
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment.
  • Someone who is highly motivated, with a desire to stay current on architectural trends and standards.
  • The ability to solve problems and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for metrics and improvement.
  • 3+ years as a Director of Business Systems, including people management.

Compensation Details:

At Auvik, our compensation philosophy is to be market competitive, reward performance, reflect our commitment to equity and maintain transparency with our employees. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each of our markets we employ, based on research from various sources of market data, which are reviewed on a regular basis.

The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered for candidates in this role is based on a number of factors including job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. These factors may cause your compensation to vary within the range outlined below.

In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock options to share in Auvik's future successes. Auvik employees are eligible to participate in additional benefits and programs including our comprehensive health and dental benefits plan, Wellness spending account, GRSP matching program, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave program, and are eligible for remote working subsidies.

OTE (Base + Target Incentive) Range:

$126,500—$164,500 CAD
