The Vice President of Technology will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and management of the company's technology initiatives, with a particular focus on application rationalization, governance, application portfolio management, automation, AI, SaaS solutions, IT vendor management, and enterprise and application architecture. This role will ensure that the technology strategy aligns with the company's business objectives and drives innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Application Governance:
    • Develop and implement application governance frameworks to ensure all applications' compliance, security, and optimal performance.
    • Establish policies and procedures for application lifecycle management, including development, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
    • Ensure that all applications meet regulatory and industry standards.
    • Establish and execute PADU
  • Application Portfolio Management:
    • Oversee the management of the company's application portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
    • Evaluate and prioritize application investments based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment.
    • Lead the rationalization of the application portfolio to eliminate redundancies and optimize resources.
  • Automation:
    • Drive the adoption of automation technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process automation across the organization and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
    • Collaborate with business units to develop and deploy automation strategies that enhance productivity and service delivery.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI):
    • Lead the development and implementation of AI strategies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
    • Oversee the integration of AI technologies into business processes and applications.
    • Ensure that AI initiatives align with the company's strategic goals and deliver measurable business value.
  • SaaS Solutions:
    • Oversee the implementation and management of SaaS solutions to support business operations.
    • Evaluate and select SaaS vendors that align with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Ensure seamless integration of SaaS solutions with existing systems and processes.
  • IT Vendor Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
    • Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
  • Enterprise and Application Architecture:
    • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework to ensure alignment with business goals and technology strategy.
    • Oversee the design and implementation of application architecture to support scalability, performance, and security.
    • Ensure the architecture supports integration and interoperability across the organization's technology landscape.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement architectural standards and best practices.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, focusing on application governance, application portfolio management, automation, AI, SaaS solutions, IT vendor management, and enterprise and application architecture.
  • Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale application portfolios and driving technology investments.
  • Extensive experience implementing automation technologies and AI solutions in a business environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading AI and automation projects from concept to implementation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and other relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Experience managing technology initiatives within the healthcare sector, focusing on improving patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Understanding of healthcare-specific challenges and opportunities related to technology adoption and integration.
  • Strong experience managing SaaS solutions, including vendor selection, integration, and performance management.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage IT vendor contracts to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and application architecture design, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy
