About the Role
As the E-Commerce Merchandising Strategist, you’ll own how our products, collections, and campaigns come to life on-site. You’ll partner closely with the Director of E-commerce to shape the structure, content, and performance of Bushbalm’s digital storefront.
This role blends data, UX, storytelling, and on-site execution. You’ll lead initiatives that align business goals with customer behavior — from PDP strategy to conversion testing and bundle merchandising.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute product launches, collections, and seasonal merchandising strategies
- Write compelling, benefit-driven product descriptions and optimize product metadata
- Manage and maintain accurate metafields across the Shopify Plus storefront
- Create new landing pages for campaigns, bundles, and promotional moments
- Own product and collection hierarchy to improve customer flow and AOV
- Collaborate with creative, email, and paid teams to align site content with campaigns
- Analyze performance data and customer behavior to inform updates and experiments
- Work with Aftership to help with upselling and ultimately improving AOV
Who You Are:
- Have 2–4+ years in e-commerce merchandising & digital strategy
- Are confident working in Shopify (Plus) and managing Shopify Metafields
- Understand how to build site experiences that balance brand storytelling with conversion
- Are data-minded — you make decisions based on analytics, not guesses
- Have strong attention to detail and can confidently QA your work
- Enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
