We’re seeking a highly energetic, action-biased, independent self-starter to join us as a Regional Human Resources Director, reporting directly into our Chief People Officer. As the singular HR Business Partner for a client group, you will have the opportunity to lean in, be creative, thoughtful, and influence company growth and employee experience from end to end. Being an HR thought leader and a critical partner for a client group, you will collaborate with leaders to determine priorities, challenges, and people needs to design and implement best-in-class people solutions to meet and exceed regional goals and objectives.
This is a fully remote role, but ideal candidates will live in the Eastern or Central United States, as you'll be supporting employees across the country, but also localized at our headquarters in Austin, TX.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Support HR strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture and driving organizational effectiveness and business growth
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor and provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures
- Talent Management: Lead the talent development, and succession planning initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Implement effective performance management processes inclusive of coaching, organizational design, promotions, and career development
- Organizational Development: Partner with senior leadership to identify organizational needs, develop and implement change management initiatives, and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
- HR Policy and Compliance: Remain current with employment laws and regulations, ensuring HR policies, practices, and programs are compliant. Conduct investigations when necessary and recommend appropriate actions to address issues. Train, educate, and provide guidance to managers to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive employee experience through the design and implementation of initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being
- Learning and Development: Identify training needs for business units, and partner with training experts across the organization to design and implement new training programs to meet business needs. Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
- HR Analytics: Utilize Workday HRIS data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and drive data-informed decision-making related to employee engagement, performance, and retention
- Functional Leadership: Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to other HR team members, ensuring a high level of performance and professional growth; develop & maintain strong relationships with HR SME organization
- Over 10 years of progressive HR experience; Bachelor’s/MBA/Master’s desired, but not required
- The ability to consult and operate at strategic, tactical, and operational levels
- Confidence in quickly getting up to speed, leaning in and offering strategic and tactical solutions to everyday challenges and opportunities
- Have a sense of natural curiosity to learn, partner effectively across functional boundaries and support culture of continuous improvement
- The ability to effectively communicate and build trust and relationships with varying stakeholders at all levels of the organization. A proven track records of managing complex employee relations issues
- An affinity for data and the important role its application plays in success
- Knowledge and free thought of successful business practices, their application, and strategic input on how HR can best support
- The relentless desire to continue to learn and grow professionally
- Good understanding and working knowledge of HR Technology solutions
