We are seeking to fill the Systems and Deployment Specialist position with an individual who is internally motivated to pursue excellence in their job responsibilities and continually considers ways to increase their efficiency and the team’s productivity. Responsibilities
- Performs application deployments, configurations, and support for all environments
- Configuration/management of Windows Server OS (including IIS server role)
- Performs server and application migrations
- Triage and analyze issues relating to our internal benefits application
- Aid and backup to existing team members for routine tasks
- Interacting with the external client and project manager frequently
- SQL Server Maintenance
- Create/update documentation
- Work with the team members and development groups to triage and investigate performance and application issues
- Overtime/after-hours may be required during peak seasons.
- 5+ years of experience in IT or an appropriate degree
- Good communication skills in English, written and verbal
- Dedicated team player who demonstrates initiative and independence
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
- Concrete experience with Internet Information systems (IIS)
- Knowledge of Scripting, including analyzing and developing (PowerShell, CMD, SQL, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Must be a US citizen
- Knowledge of SQL Server management
- Knowledge of Octopus is an asset
- Experience with domain environments (Active Directory or LDAP)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Cloud technologies
- Knowledge of Dynamics CRM
