En tant que membre de l’équipe des ventes de Timberland, le Représentant des ventes internes (RVI) est responsable de la gestion de comptes désignés et de l’identification de nouvelles opportunités afin d’atteindre les objectifs de vente. Le RVI se concentrera sur l’augmentation des ventes, du service et du soutien auprès des détaillants indépendants à travers le Canada, en travaillant à distance. Vous serez chargé de maintenir le positionnement de la marque Timberland tout en stimulant la croissance du chiffre d’affaires.

Vous ferez partie intégrante de notre équipe, sous la supervision du Directeur des ventes, Style de vie et Spécialité, et vous gérerez une liste désignée de clients à travers le Canada. Vous collaborerez avec les équipes de vente régionales et travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Ventes et Opérations commerciales pour les rapports, les prévisions et la gestion des stocks.

Une journée type pourrait inclure :

  • Déterminer les besoins et attentes des clients afin de recommander des produits et solutions spécifiques via des appels, des recherches en ligne et des réunions Zoom ou téléphoniques. Vous gérerez une liste de moins de 300 clients existants de Timberland.
  • Recommander des produits en fonction du coût, de la disponibilité, des spécifications, du potentiel de vente et des besoins des clients. Présenter les prix, les conditions de crédit et les modalités selon les procédures standards et les profils clients.
  • Assurer le support client pour notre site B2B et nos ressources numériques. Suivre les commandes pour garantir leur allocation, expédition et facturation.
  • Travailler efficacement avec les autres membres de l’équipe des ventes. Vous collaborerez avec l’équipe régionale canadienne pour établir des relations solides avec les acheteurs et parties prenantes. En interne, vous bénéficierez du soutien des équipes Marketing, Produit et Opérations commerciales.
  • Maintenir des rapports constants sur les ventes entrantes, les ventes en magasin et les opportunités commerciales supplémentaires. Rapporter les appels et activités de vente quotidiennement, hebdomadairement et mensuellement.
  • Discuter et résoudre les problèmes liés aux prix, aux dates de livraison et à toute autre problématique de commande avec les clients, le service client et le service crédit, si nécessaire.

  • Diplôme universitaire (BA, BS ou équivalent)
  • Minimum 1 an d’expérience en vente (au détail, externe ou par téléphone)
  • Connaissance du secteur de la chaussure
  • Bilingue : anglais/français, à l’oral et à l’écrit

Compétences clés :

  • Motivation, organisation, autonomie et esprit d’équipe
  • Excellente communication et service client, en interne comme en externe
  • Capacité à apprendre et maintenir une bonne connaissance des produits
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément et à travailler de manière indépendante
  • Connaissance de la disponibilité des stocks
  • Solides compétences informatiques : maîtrise de MS Office requise ; expérience avec SAP et CGNOS est un atout
  • Lieu de résidence : Ce poste est entièrement à distance, mais le candidat idéal résidera au Canada pour mieux servir sa clientèle.

Inside Sales Representative - Canada

What will you do?

As part of Timberland Sales team, the Inside Sales Representative (IHSR) is responsible for managing designated accounts and identifying new opportunities to achieve sales targets. The ISR will focus on increasing sales, service and support with independent retailers across Canada from a remote capacity. You’ll be responsible in maintaining Timberland’s Brand Positioning while driving for revenue growth.

You'll be a trusted member of our team reporting to the Director of Sales, Lifestyle & Specialty and you’ll manage a designated list of customers across Canada. You'll collaborate and liaise with the regional sales teams, and work closely with Sales and Sales Operations on reporting, forecasting and inventory management.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Determine customer requirements and expectations in-order-to recommend specific products and solutions through calls to the customer, use of and Internet research. Your daily selling activity will be conducted via Zoom or phone and an occasional industry show, managing a list of <300 existing Timberland customers.
  • Recommend products based on cost, availability or specifications, sales potential, customer needs and product availability. Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profiles.
  • Administer wholesale customer support for our B2B website and our digital assets. Follow up on sales orders to ensure orders are allocated, shipped and billed.
  • Work effectively with other members of the Sales Team. You’ll partner with the Canada Regional Sales Team to learn the customer base to establish relationships with buyers and stakeholders to build successful win-win plans. Internally, you’ll have access to industry leading support from Marketing, Product and Sales Operations to collaborate and deliver on execution.
  • Maintain constant reporting on sell-in, sell-thru and additional business opportunities. Report calls and sales activities daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Discuss and resolve issues of pricing, delivery dates, and any and all other order problem issues with customers, Customer Service associates, and Credit as required.

  • What do you need to succeed?

    We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel.

    Those are:

    • BA, BS or other four-year college equivalent
    • 1+ years of selling experience, retail/outside/telephone
    • Working knowledge of footwear industry
    • Bilingual: English/French oral and written

    The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

    • Motivated, organized, responsible self-starter that wants to be a part of a team
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communication to both internal and external contacts
    • Ability to learn and maintain product knowledge
    • Ability to handle and track multiple projects as well as work independently.
    • Learn and maintain knowledge of inventory availability
    • Strong computer skills. Proficiency in MS Office, required. SAP and CGNOS experience a plus.
    • Location requirement: While this position is fully remote, the ideal candidate will reside within Canada to better service their client base.

    Hiring Range:

    $40,800.00 CAD - $51,000.00 CAD annually

    Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
