Description

Position Overview:

As the SVP of Finance, you will play a critical role on the leadership team. A strategic thinker and culture contributor, this leader is analytically driven, deeply curious about our industry, and passionate about using data and financial insight to help Indagare grow. You will oversee all financial activities, lead long-range planning and budgeting efforts, and build out robust modeling capabilities to guide decision-making. With strong business acumen and a data-first mindset, you’ll establish and enforce financial systems, policies, and strategic frameworks to optimize performance and profitability.

This role requires deep expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), advanced modeling, and data analytics to provide actionable insights across the business. The ideal candidate will bring a powerful blend of strategic leadership, operational finance, and hands-on analytical capability.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Executive Team by providing actionable financial guidance and insight.
  • Lead all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting, including variance analysis, scenario modeling, and business case development.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support revenue forecasting, expense management, and new business initiatives.
  • Drive development and implementation of internal data intelligence frameworks that guide decisions, reveal trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of key financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Partner with department heads to align budgeting efforts with strategic goals and monitor KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Report financial performance to senior management, shareholders, and the Board of Directors in a clear and concise manner
  • Design and refine dashboard reporting and analytical tools to track financial and operational performance across departments.
  • Direct banking, insurance, and external financial relationships (e.g., accounting firms, auditors, regulators).
  • Support potential fund-raising efforts (Equity or Debt)
  • Ensure proper systems and internal controls are in place for financial operations, risk management, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for financial operations; improve processes for scale and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and analysis for contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
  • Act as a cross-functional advisor, providing insights on membership, retention, trip data, margins, and customer behavior.
  • Foster strong relationships with platform partners such as NetSuite, Salesforce, and Bank of America.
  • Build and lead a high-performing Finance team, mentoring and developing talent to meet future company needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure financial goals are aligned with operational and strategic objectives.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance roles, with significant time spent in FP&A and modeling-focused leadership.
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA required, MBA a plus.
  • Exceptional command of financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance benchmarking.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite; Salesforce proficiency preferred.
  • Travel industry or consumer services experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills—ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance audiences.
  • Deep commitment to integrity, accountability, and ethical business practices.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and mentoring emerging finance leaders.
  • Strategic thinker with operational fluency and the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
