Product Manager – Finance & Payments

Are you excited by the challenge of modernizing enterprise finance systems and building new payment capabilities?

In this role, you’ll lead a cross-functional team responsible for the systems that support accounting workflows, payment collection infrastructure, and fraud tooling. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Payments, Procurement, and our selling channels to ensure our internal platforms are scalable, reliable, and built for the future.

We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.

Join Best Buy Canada’s technology team as a product manager focused on modernizing our Finance & Payments platforms.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Finance & Payments systems, including ERP-based accounting workflows, fraud tooling, and payment collection infrastructure.
  • Lead an agile delivery team to build scalable, secure, and efficient internal platforms that support Best Buy’s core finance operations.
  • Partner with teams across the organization — including Finance, Accounting, Procurement, BestBuy.ca, and Stores — to understand their needs and translate them into a long-term product direction.
  • Serve as the functional expert in your domain, connecting technical implementation with business context and operational goals.
  • Contribute to a multi-year payments platform modernization initiative, ensuring foundational systems are in place to support new capabilities and channels.

What we need:

  • 2–4 years of experience as a product manager or in a similar role, ideally working on finance, ERP, or payments-related platforms.
  • Hands-on familiarity with the payments landscape, including platforms that support payment collection or fraud prevention.
  • Experience working with finance ERP systems and a strong understanding of accounting or finance operations.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams to drive delivery.
  • Experience working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Employee discounts on awesome tech from day one.
  • Flexible health benefits and wellness program.
  • TFSA and RRSP programs.
  • 100% matched company pension plan.
  • Training programs to build new and transferable skills.
