About the role:
Reporting to the Director, Brand Strategy, the Junior Brand Strategist will assist in the development, execution, management, and deployment of creative brand strategies and content for organic and paid social media campaigns across multiple brands. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a passion for social media, content management, and brand storytelling. The Junior Brand Strategist will help research trends, create presentation materials, and support the broader strategy team in delivering insight-driven, creative brand strategies.
What you’ll do:
- Support Brand Strategy Development: Assist in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for creative campaigns.
- Client Communication & Collaboration: Support strategy team members in preparing client deliverables and gathering feedback.
- Presentation & Deck Assistance: Help build one-sheets, pitch decks, and case studies to visually communicate brand strategies.
- Copywriting Support: Draft short-form copy for presentations, post captions, and content scripts.
- Social Content Calendar: Develop and maintain client social content calendar, and schedule and deploy posts in alignment with the overarching social media strategy.
- Trend Research & Insights: Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital platforms to inform strategy recommendations.
- Organizational & Administrative Support: Assist in coordinating meetings, managing files, and ensuring smooth execution of projects.
What you bring:
- 0-2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, social media management, or a related field (internships or freelance work are a plus!).
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in digital media, design, film, or advertising/marketing, or an additional 2 years of equivalent experience in professional marketing in lieu of a degree.
- Strong interest in social media, content management, and brand strategy.
- Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social platforms.
- Experience in or willingness to learn social media management and audience listening tools (e.g., Sprout, Sprinklr, Dash) and campaign analytics.
- Proficiency in Google Slides, Keynote, or PowerPoint for presentation creation.
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with B2B marketing and social media best practices
- Active on social media with a keen understanding of digital brand culture and trends among online professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
